Katie at Mexican Wildflower is cooking her way through the Little House Books and this is one of my favorites. Katie made Little House Pancakes, delicious, nutritious pancakes and she uses kefir to soak the whole wheat flour - isn't that wonderful?!
Are you getting just a little tired of recipes containing pumpkin? You will love this poem written by Cook of the House at It's a Food Life - plus she shares this delicious side dish Pumpkin and Sweet Potato Puree with orange and thyme - just in case you want to make one more!
Melodie at Breastfeeding Moms Unite wrote a very interesting and informative post on how to be Vegan and not eat soy or vegetable oils. She is a vegetarian who is a long time vegetarian who’s into real food, holistic nutrition, and healthy living. This is important information for any vegan or someone considering it to know.

Tanvi at Sinfully Spicy is eating up foods she already has in order to not waste. I love what she comes up with this time - Chicken Koftke - Chicken Balls in Yogurt Gravy.

ReplyDeleteThank you so much Christy for the shout out! I guess I should clarify that I'm not mostly vegan anymore. I like to eat vegan dishes once in awhile (they're just as easy as anything else), but I definitely eat my share of eggs, dairy and honey. I;m just a plain, old, run-of-the-mill vegetarian now. But I hope that post can be helpful to any vegans out there who read it or anyone who wants to be vegan but wants to make sure to do it "right." Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteThanks Christy! Just for the record, I could probably be talked into one more pumpkin dish. lol
ReplyDeleteTanvi - you are welcome!
ReplyDeleteMelodie= I am going to "fix" where I call you an almost vegan - and thanks again for a great post!
Cook of the House - I can be talked into another again too!
